About Candace Tierney - Founder, Oat & Mill
Ever since she was a wee girl, Candace has loved oats. She’s eaten steel cut oats for breakfast almost every day for more than 20 years. “Oats are my comfort food,” she says. “And, they’re my calling.” Candace was obsessed with ice cream from a very young age. A few years ago, she had a flash of brilliance - why not combine her love of ice cream, with her love of oats, and her longing to eat entire pints at once without becoming sick?
Since then, she has been perfecting her recipe for the perfect oat based frozen dessert, with more than 300 trials to-date! Her favourite things include running, ice cream, and of course, oats.
